Fashion/Beauty Summer Must haves

I've recently written a blog post about my ''Top 5 Summer Trends'' and I got such a positive feedback. I'm very glad you liked it. So I've decided to do quite similar blog post but this time I'll share with you some of my Fashion / Beauty Must Haves for summer. Something you must try, something that's very in style now.


Lace, Lace and some more Lace! You must have seen at least one person this week wearing lacy top. There's no better way to show off your summer tan then wearing white lacy dress or shirt while your chocolate skin tone peeks trough the fabric. Those few weeks of tanning have payed off now that you're back to work. It looks very elegant and sophisticated.


Again a white thing but I feel like white in summer is just the perfect choice for almost everything. So, when it comes to the nails I know it's fun to play with colors especially in summer but this year I have had a white nail polish since beginning of June. It makes you look a lot tanner then you are and once I applied it I was impressed. I think this will be my signature nail color now. I also love light pink which you can see in the first photo. I highly recommend Essie's Fiji and in general my favorite nail polish brand is Essie.


All about that Highlight. Lately I've seen so many highlight tutorials and I have to admit contouring isn't that interesting to me anymore. In the past few months I've been loving my Laura Mercier Indiscretion Illuminator. It has a soft rose-gold shimmer and makes your skin glow. Other highlighters I've used recently are: Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators and Benefit Watt's Up! Cream Highlighter. I love when my face glows. When I put highlighter I look so much more fresh, not tired and I can't see myself doing makeup without using it anymore.


It's very hard to choose the right shape of sunglasses that will suit you perfectly. At least it is for me. However this year I've seen everyone enjoying blue and green mirror - sunglasses. They look so fun and they are definitely a must for this summer.

      Thanks Katie! You don't really need to have perfect tan for white nails! I sometimes even wear them in early spring and they work great with lighter skin tone as well :) x

    The laura mercier illuminators are stunning! I also love wearing white on my nails or nude - as you say it really enhances a tan!
