Hey beauties! How are you doing? I can not believe it's finally December! I'm so excited and happy. Unfortunately I am not doing Blogmas but I will be posting more frequently. Anyhow, today I'm going to share with you my favorite Holiday hairstyle. I'm sure most of you have been in a situation where you just did not know what to do with your hair. It's a bit oily, greasy and no matter if you straight it or curly it - it would still look bad. But, you have to look good for family dinner or this special event you're going to. It windy, cloudy or rainy outside, and classic ponytail wouldn't work this time. So I found this perfect hairstyle that will save you!
It may look a bit complicated but it's actually quite easy and there are bunch of tutorials out there on YouTube if you get a bit confused. So in a few simple steps you can achieve this gorgeous hairstyle. I must admit that it does look a bit better with balayage, just because it emphasize design and braids are more visible and eye catching. However it does look quite good with any hair color so it doesn't matter.
- Brush your hair from any tangles
- Separate hair into two even sections
- Take spray bottle (filled up with some water) and spray few times onto your hair. If you're hair is oily or a bit greasy, you can skip this step.
- Turn your hair upside down and start braiding each section (any braids would do, but I prefer french braids).
- Stop braiding when you reach top of your head or close to the top
(however you prefer) and start twisting your hair around into a little
bun.
It's really easy. You do not have to be precised, the messier - the better! I plan to wear this hairstyle a lot this winter. I would usually do it on second/third hair wash day. It's perfect for this time of the year and not forgetting to mention how cool it looks for Instagram photos! I hope you enjoyed today's post and let me in know in comments if you like this hairstyle and if you ever tried it.
