How to prepare for winter season

Hi beauties! I think by now everyone knows how much I love winter & holiday time. I get so inspired and creative. Today I'm going to share with you some of the things I like to do in winter time. Each year, I usually like to write a list of the things I want to get done and achieve by the end of the year or end of holiday breaks. Weather you're going to school or work, you want to get best out of your free time and enjoy it completely while you can. I would write this list early December, attach it and keep it somewhere visible so that I can always see it and remind myself to stay productive and do all the fun things I planned to do. 


Long time ago, I'd give myself these hard to do lists that I could never finish and I'd usually get disappointed in myself and feel down. I'd also feel so unproductive, almost like I didn't do anything whole winter break other then sleeping and eating. So, the first thing I'd recommend before doing anything is: Don't be hard on yourself and keep your goals achievable and not hard. So here's my to do list which will hopefully inspire some of you and give you idea on how to prepare for holiday season and create your own to do list:

  • Clean your whole house - begin with basic cleaning and then go into details. You can't have fun or work in messy place, can't you?
  • Explore fun new cookie recipe via internet or by using cook book - I'd recommend baking brownies, classic cookies, macaroons, chocolate chip cupcakes or simply a cake! Now that you have some free time, use it!
  • Give yourself fun Christmas manicure! You can search for some amazing designs over on cutepolish YouTube channel. I always go for sparkly nails in winter. You can't have enough of glitter.
  • Prepare some outfits - On winter break, I'm sure most of you will have a lot of family meetings, dinners etc. You now have time to look your best, so take your time and create the most amazing outfits.
  • Go shopping for ornaments & decorations - don't wait till everything gets sold. You can search for good deals the night before you go shopping but don't wait for the last minute to get what you need because it might be gone quickly.
  • Decorate house - I'm pretty sure all of us enjoy this. I'm so excited, I can not wait.
  • Now you that you have some free time, get creative and do fun DIY. I'd recommend DIY-ing some snowflakes, which I'm going try myself and maybe do blog post on it. There are a lot of tutorials and it can be quite fun when you get bored.

      Oh that's amazing! I always wanted a mini tree in my bedroom too :) It's just every year I forget somehow to buy one or I'm too busy searching for new decorations and ornaments for our big tree. :P
